See Events page for details.

TRISP One- Two- Three-Year Continuing Education Program in Intersubjective Self Psychology

The TRISP One- Two- and Three- Year Continuing Education Programs in Intersubjective Self Psychology are designed for licensed clinicians interested in expanding their psychoanalytic knowledge base and enhancing their clinical skills with the theory of Intersubjective Self Psychology.  Clinicians who have been introduced to self psychology and intersubjectivity will find that the study of Intersubjective Self Psychology will not only enhance their comprehension of each foundational theory but will build a new foundation based on the integration of the two traditions.  Those who are newer to Intersubjective Self Psychology will gain a comprehensive understanding of the theory and its application in the clinical setting.

The complete series includes eight seminars over three years.  Presentation of theory will be coordinated with discussion of clinical applications.  Third year students are encouraged to augment their studies with individual case consultation with a faculty member at a greatly reduced fixed fee.   The continuing education series culminates with students presenting their clinical work to the faculty and members of the TRISP community at a graduation ceremony.

Seminars are offered Wednesday evenings from 7:30 pm to 9pm.  All seminars are taught by licensed faculty and held in private offices in Manhattan.  Continuing Education Credits are available for all classes; each 15-session class offers 22 CEUs and each 16-session class offers 24 CEUs.
